Hi! Welcome to Snails Studios. I’m the artist, Hailey Klopstein.

If you have found yourself here, I first want to say thank you for spending your time viewing independent art & visiting my page. As early as I can remember, I started my painting journey, and throughout my 27 years, art has continued to follow me and have a presence in my life - through mentors & guides, studies, nature, connection, people, expression - it always seems to find me. Originally, I fell in love with acrylic & watercolor paints, which I still enjoy and practice. However, during my time at UW-Madison, I discovered the medium of mixed-media collage while studying color theory, and learned a new avenue on how to express my creativity that felt so... me. Majority of the magazine clippings I use are from old, discarded magazines I have collected over the years in effort to make something old, new again. I intend this page to grow & change as I do and as look forward to sharing more of what I love.
