I curate image collections from old, often discarded magazines acquired from community members, donation centers, friends & family, and anywhere else I can find. Using a gloss medium and acrylic paints, I create cohesive compositions blending paint & texture with clippings from publications spanning multiple decades and subject areas.

My collages highlight the universal languages of the world, balancing their delicacy & power, which are often overlooked or cast as weakness in our busy modern zeitgeist. At a time where it is hard to decipher what is real vs. not, I find it crucial to connect to tangible landscapes around us - with one another, the natural Earth, and the present moment. Preserving and connecting to nature, embracing culture through food and dance, and celebrating femininity are a few of the themes I study through my work.
